Yesterday was my farewell gathering with the Siemens Electrical Products management team in Regensburg. Roughly 14 years ago I have joined Siemens. And it was an exciting and intense journey from Management Consulting and Strategy to Product Management and Manufacturing with the last years heading the Electrical Products Business in China & East Asia. I’m grateful for all those opportunities to grow and all the support I received during this time. Seeing Siemens Electrical Products grow into todays strong global position is something I feel very proud to have been part of. Overall a time not always easy, but very rewarding and full of lasting memories. And as always the people make the difference and I had the chance to work with great colleagues from around the world, building networks and friendships that last. I am proud to be part of team Siemens for many years.

Now it’s time to start a new chapter outside Siemens and I’m already looking forward to my new exciting journey ahead.

A new chapter in my career has started. In January I have joined the executive team of Alfanar as Vice President and General Manager.

Alfanar with its broad range of products, systems, solutions, and services serves as an industry leader for Electrification in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. 

The picture shows my new office location, the Alfanar Industrial City in Riyadh. Here are 14 factories of Alfanar located and for me it is the ideal place to follow my passion for innovation and manufacturing in the very dynamic markets of the Middle East.

I would like to thank team Alfanar for helping me land here and giving me an excellent start. I cannot wait to see where this new chapter of my career will take me, and to grow and learn within this role.

Alfanar 凭借其广泛的产品、系统、解决方案和服务，是沙特阿拉伯王国和中东地区电气化的行业领导者。
