Intern, Business Advisory Services and Event Planning, Beijing Researching and analyzing China-related business issues using primarily Chinese-language sources to provide updates and reports in English to full-time staff; Aiding with written translations of internal and external materials between Chinese and English; Supporting USCBC events, including registration, on-site support, event write-ups; Supporting government affairs team in summarizing Chinese government policies and preparing outreach materials in a timely manner; Other responsibilities as assigned;
Bachelor’s degree in English, economics, policy, finance, law, international relations, or business-related field, an advanced degree is advantageous;
Native Chinese or English speaker with exceptional written command of the English language; Strong, demonstrated research and analytical experience using Chinese-language sources; Knowledge and interest in US-China economic and commercial issues, as well as a basic understanding of international economics and business terminology; Experience in understanding PRC political and economic systems; Part-time interns should spend at least three days a week in the office. A minimum of four months commitment is preferred;
