Job description
• The senior accountant will report directly to the Sr. Finance Manager. This candidate will be a proactive member of the accounting team and provide timely and accurate financial record as well as ensure compliance with GAAP.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor accounts payable transactions, ensuring proper coding and enhance internal approval process.
• Supervise accounting daily operations including billing, A/P, A/R and GL.
• Maintain accounting practices and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
Reconcile monthly credit card transactions and bank reconciliation.
• Prepare monthly reconciliation report of various balance sheet accounts.
• Perform analysis on fixed asset, CIP and depreciation schedule.
• Preparation of annual property tax return, and various returns from local government authorities
• Perform month end accrual GL entries.
• Coordinate preparation of external audit request and external financial reporting.
Job Requirements / Qualifications
• Excellent analytical and math skills.
• Strong written and communication skills.
• Skill in dealing with multiple projects and interruptions.
• Ability to maintain effective working relationships with vendors, customers and various departments within the company.
• Intermediate knowledge of excel.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online and Oracle a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to research, troubleshoot, and resolve discrepancies and issues; detail-oriented and a self-starter.
• Bilingual in Mandarin a plus.
Pay and Benefits:
• $20-25/hour.
